Twin Sister Stabbed 84 Times! Brother Tells Mother, ‘Come Home for a Surprise’, Then Attacks Her Too
The city of Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh has been rocked by a gruesome fratricide that defies human comprehension. Hardik, a 25-year-old engineer, allegedly murdered his twin sister, Himshikha, by stabbing her 84 times. The brutality did not end there; he then attempted to kill his mother after luring her home under the pretext of a “surprise.”
The investigation revealed that Hardik was obsessed with a woman he met online. His sister, Himshikha, who worked for an IT firm in Gurugram, frequently advised him to focus on his career instead of the virtual relationship. Hardik, suffering from a recent breakup, suspected that his mother and sister were responsible for the end of his affair. During a heated argument while home for the Holi holidays, he picked up a kitchen knife and unleashed a savage attack on his sister. The autopsy report confirmed deep injuries to her heart, liver, and lungs, with several ribs broken due to the force of the stabs.
After the murder, Hardik drove to his mother’s office and calmly asked her to return home for a surprise. As soon as his mother, Neelima Malhotra, opened the door and saw her daughter’s lifeless body in a pool of blood, Hardik attacked her as well. Neelima sustained six stab wounds but managed to escape and alert the neighbors. Hardik was arrested within 24 hours. During interrogation, he showed no remorse, stating he wanted to kill his mother so she wouldn’t have to suffer alone after he went to jail. This spine-chilling case has highlighted the dangerous levels of mental instability and the dark side of online obsessions.
