Kerala Transport Minister K. Ganesh Kumar is at the center of a massive scandal following serious allegations of infidelity by his wife, Bindu Menon. She claims to have caught the minister in a compromising position with another woman in their bedroom. Bindu further alleged that the minister’s staff attempted to snatch her phone when she tried to document the incident.

The controversy has taken a political turn as Bindu claims she alerted Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter, Veena, about the event. Ganesh Kumar, a five-time MLA and chairman of the Kerala Congress (B), is no stranger to such controversies; he previously resigned as a minister in 2013 over similar accusations by his first wife.

Denying the allegations, Ganesh Kumar dismissed them as a “political conspiracy,” stating, “Love is not a crime; it is a personal matter.” However, the United Democratic Front (UDF) has launched a blistering attack on the government. Opposition leader V.D. Satheesan questioned the CM’s claims of women’s safety, asking, “If a minister’s wife cannot get justice, how can ordinary women expect any?” With assembly elections approaching, the ruling LDF faces mounting pressure, leaving many to wonder if CM Pinarayi Vijayan will force the minister to step down to save the government’s image.
