Actor-politician Dev has lashed out at his detractors after the Swasthya Sathi card registration camp for Tollywood technicians was suspended following the announcement of election dates. Going live on social media, Dev alleged that a section of people is trying to intimidate the workers and spread misinformation. “Some people always want to create hurdles. Now, they are threatening our technicians,” he claimed.

Dev explained that while the project is temporarily on hold due to the Model Code of Conduct, it is not cancelled. He promised the film industry’s workers that new camps will be organized right after the elections so that everyone can avail of the benefits. He urged the technicians not to lose hope and assured them that he stands firmly by their side.
