Leading a massive rally in the heart of Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee unleashed a fiery attack on the BJP regarding the LPG crisis. “Don’t become gas balloons by consuming the ‘gas’ (fake promises) provided by the BJP. Once that balloon bursts, you’ll find yourselves nowhere,” she cautioned the public.

The TMC supremo claimed that the recent marginal cut in LPG prices is nothing but an “election lollipop” to distract voters from the year-long inflation. She asserted that the Trinamool Congress is the only party in India that consistently fights for the common man on the streets. Thousands of women marched alongside her with empty cylinders, turning the protest into a powerful display of political strength just before the assembly polls.
