“Opposition Exploiting Crisis”! PM Modi Addresses LPG Shortage at NXT Summit 2026

Addressing the ‘NXT Summit 2026’ in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke extensively on the ongoing LPG gas crisis across the country. Attributing the disruption to the ongoing conflicts in the Gulf region, the PM emphasized that the government is exploring every possible avenue to restore normal supply chains.

The Prime Minister strongly criticized opposition parties for allegedly spreading panic for political gains, stating that such actions ultimately harm the nation. He issued a stern warning to those involved in black-marketing, declaring that strict legal action will be taken against them. PM Modi further mentioned that he has been in constant dialogue with global leaders to resolve supply-related hurdles.

Reiterating his vision for an ‘Atmanirbhar’ (self-reliant) India in the energy sector, PM Modi highlighted the success of ethanol blending over the last 11 years. He stated that this initiative has saved India approximately 18 crore barrels of crude oil imports, resulting in a staggering saving of ₹1.5 lakh crore for the exchequer. Concluding his address, the Prime Minister assured the nation that India would overcome this global crisis with the same resilience shown during the COVID-19 pandemic.
