Not the First Time: Trisha Krishnan Targeted with Fake Bomb Threat Again

High drama unfolded at the Chennai residence of popular South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan following a bomb threat. An unidentified individual sent an email to the police control room claiming that powerful explosives had been planted in her house. Taking the threat seriously, the Chennai police and a bomb disposal squad rushed to the spot with sniffer dogs and advanced detection equipment.

After several hours of a rigorous search operation, the authorities confirmed that no suspicious objects were found, declaring the threat a hoax. Trisha and her family members were present at home during the search. The police have officially registered a case and are tracing the origin of the email, which is believed to have been sent from a district in Tamil Nadu.

This is notably the second time Trisha has faced such a scare, with a similar incident occurring in 2025. Such hoax threats targeting South Indian superstars like Rajinikanth, Thalapathy Vijay, and Ajith Kumar have become a recurring nuisance for the administration. The police have warned of strict legal action against the culprit for wasting public resources and creating unnecessary panic.
