Akshay-Priyadarshan Duo Returns! New Song ‘O Sundari’ Sparks ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ Nostalgia

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is gearing up for a grand comeback with his upcoming horror-comedy ‘Bhoot Bangla’, releasing on April 17. The film marks the much-awaited reunion of Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan. With the trailer already giving off strong ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ vibes, the release of the new song ‘O Sundari’ has sent fans into a frenzy.
The song, composed by Pritam and sung by Vishal Mishra, Nakash Aziz, and Antara Mitra, is drawing heavy comparisons to the 2007 hit ‘Lets Rock Soniye’. The 3-minute 45-second video features a wedding sequence where Akshay displays his trademark energy and emotional bond with his sister, alongside actress Wamiqa Gabbi. Netizens are calling it ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.0’ due to the similar architectural sets and the comedic chemistry of the supporting cast, including Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, and Paresh Rawal.
Advanced bookings for the film are now open, with a special paid preview scheduled for April 16. After a quiet start to the year, all eyes are on Akshay Kumar to see if this nostalgic collaboration can recreate the same box-office magic that enthralled audiences 19 years ago.
