Dark Side of Bollywood Exposed! Manoj Bajpayee Drops a Bombshell on Industry’s Reality!

The Hindi film industry has failed to properly value and utilize many talented actors—this explosive allegation has been leveled by acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee. Drawing from his decades of experience in Indian cinema, he stated that typecasting artists into repetitive roles has severely restricted their craft, robbing them of the chance to showcase their true potential to the audience.

Speaking during a promotional interview for his new OTT release, Gajab Raat, Manoj expressed deep regret over the industry’s practices. “Typecasting people and boxing them into specific molds is an old habit of this industry. By doing so, we have ruined countless extraordinary talents. Giving great actors inadequate roles or denying them proper respect on set has earned this industry a bad reputation. Many fine actors simply faded away without getting their due recognition,” he remarked.

The veteran actor was equally candid about his own career, claiming that audiences have seen only a fraction of what he can deliver. Manoj shared, “I always feel that only 25 percent of my acting potential has been tapped so far. There is still so much left to give. But perhaps that is just an actor’s hunger and greed. I am thrilled that the fire within me is still burning bright, and I constantly look forward to my next project.”

However, Bajpayee commended the emergence of OTT platforms, calling it a positive shift for the entertainment world. He noted that actors who were previously overlooked or denied fair opportunities are now getting a platform to prove their mettle.

Manoj Bajpayee’s latest film Gajab Raat is currently streaming on Netflix. Alongside him, the movie features an ensemble cast including Nushrratt Bharuccha, Saqib Saleem, Akshay Oberoi, Divya Dutta, Kiku Sharda, and Shraddha Das in prominent roles.
