War Clouds Loom! Trump Orders US Navy to Blockade Iranian Waters

Following the collapse of peace talks in Islamabad over nuclear issues, US President Donald Trump has ordered a naval blockade of Iranian waterways. Speaking at the White House on Monday, Trump confirmed that the blockade is already underway, asserting, “We will not allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons or blackmail the world.” He further claimed that Tehran is desperate for a deal and had even reached out to him via phone after the military pressure intensified.
In response, Iran has condemned the move, labeling the blockade as acts of “piracy.” The Iranian military issued a stern warning, stating, “The Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman will either be free for everyone or for no one.” Having maintained control over the strategic Strait of Hormuz since late February, Iranian officials warned that any sight of US warships in the region would be treated as a violation of ceasefire agreements, potentially sparking a direct military confrontation.
