A Flight for Love: Originally from Indore, Monalisa alleged that her father was forcibly trying to marry her off to a relative. To escape the pressure, she fled to Kerala with Farman, an actor and model she met on Facebook. Seeking refuge at the Thampanoor Police Station, the couple requested protection. The police intervened, explaining to her father that as an adult, Monalisa has the constitutional right to choose her partner.
