A cloud of mystery has descended upon the Tollywood film industry as cinematographer Srijan Biswas has gone missing, just days after the disappearance of director Utsab Mukherjee. Srijan was last seen leaving his Habra residence around 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 9. Since then, his mobile phone has remained switched off, sparking intense concern among colleagues and family.

Director Mainak Guha took to social media on Friday to share Srijan’s details, stating he was wearing a yellow round-neck T-shirt and half-pants at the time. Friends believe his attire suggests he didn’t intend to travel far. Meanwhile, director Utsab Mukherjee, who went to a bank in Nimta on March 2, remains untraceable despite police complaints filed by his wife, Maupia Banerjee. The sudden disappearance of two prominent industry professionals within a short span has sent shockwaves through the Kolkata film circuit, with many calling for urgent police intervention.
