Unprecedented Gesture, BJP Candidate Enters TMC Party Office to Seek Blessings and Votes!

In a rare display of political courtesy amidst the high-voltage Bengal elections, Sanjay Das, the BJP candidate from Bardhaman North, surprised everyone by walking straight into a Trinamool Congress (TMC) party office. Far from the usual heat of electoral battles, Das was seen touching the feet of TMC veterans and seeking their support with folded hands.
The incident took place at the Rayan No. 2 regional office, where TMC regional president Dhananjay Pal and several party workers were present. Das approached them humbly, requesting, “Please give me one chance to serve.” While the move caught many off guard, the TMC leadership remarked that the BJP candidate’s safe entry into their office is a testament to the democratic environment upheld by their party.
On the other hand, the BJP defended the act, stating that showing respect to political opponents is the core culture of Bengal, which had been eroded over decades of previous regimes. According to the saffron party, Sanjay Das is simply reviving the lost tradition of political civility. This unique moment of sportsmanship in Bardhaman has now become the talk of the town.
