Truce with Iran, War with Lebanon! IDF Chief Declares Lebanon the “Primary Battlefield.”

The dynamics of the Middle East conflict have shifted once again. Despite a US-brokered ceasefire with Iran, Israel has officially designated Lebanon as its primary combat zone. IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, while reviewing frontline positions near Bint Jbeil, stated, “We are at war, not in a ceasefire. Lebanon is now our main front.”

Zamir confirmed that while the achievement against Iran was historic, the IDF is pushing its ground operations deeper into Lebanese territory to dismantle Hezbollah’s infrastructure. Israel and the US have clarified that the truce with Tehran does not extend to Hezbollah. As Israeli airstrikes and ground raids intensify, thousands of civilians are fleeing northern villages in panic. While Lebanon calls this a violation of peace, Israel remains firm on eliminating the Hezbollah threat from its northern borders.
