A wave of panic swept through the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) in Salt Lake following the unnatural death of a student. The deceased, identified as Zubin George, a native of Kerala, was found dead on the campus premises early this morning.

Bidhannagar South Police reached the spot and initiated a probe. Preliminary reports suggest that the student died by jumping from a height. However, the exact motive behind this extreme step remains unknown. Police are currently questioning hostel residents and faculty to piece together the events leading up to the tragedy. This incident follows closely on the heels of a similar horror at Kalyani’s JNM Hospital, where a medical student’s body was found, once again highlighting the growing concerns over student welfare in the state.
