Star-Studded Night in Kolkata! Dada, Shami, and Jhulan Discuss KKR’s Comeback Strategy

With Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) struggling after a string of losses in the current IPL season, former BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has stepped in with crucial tactical advice. At a glitzy launch event for the Bengal Pro League, Ganguly sat down for a talk show with KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane and star finisher Rinku Singh, in the presence of cricketing greats like Mohammed Shami and Jhulan Goswami.
During the discussion, ‘Dada’ made a direct appeal to Rahane. “Rinku is batting too low down the order, which isn’t ideal. I request you to promote him up the order so he can spend more time at the crease and impact the game,” Ganguly suggested. Rahane, acknowledging the tip, spoke about the team’s spirit, mentioning that owner Shah Rukh Khan is like an elder brother who supports the team through every crisis. Rinku Singh also reflected on his journey, noting how his iconic five sixes changed his life forever.
The event also marked the expansion of the Bengal Pro League to nine teams, with the drafting scheduled for April 27. As KKR looks to bounce back, all eyes are on Rahane to see if he follows Ganguly’s advice and promotes Rinku in the upcoming crucial fixtures.
