A female associate at the Nashik branch of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has leveled grave allegations of sexual harassment and attempted forced religious conversion against her male colleagues. The victim detailed a harrowing environment where she was subjected to lewd comments, physical advances, and verbal abuse shortly after joining the firm. Following her complaint, the Nashik police formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT), leading to the arrest of eight individuals and the registration of nine FIRs.

Nature of Allegations and Physical Assault The victim claimed that during her training period, she was targeted with inappropriate questions about her personal and married life. She specifically named several colleagues who allegedly made obscene gestures, commented on her appearance, and physically touched her inappropriately. In one instance, she alleged that a colleague tugged at her saree in the office lobby, while another repeatedly harassed her both in person and on social media platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn.

Corporate and Government Stance In response to the incident, TCS clarified that it maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and has suspended the employees involved. However, the company noted that no prior formal complaints were registered through its internal ethics or POSH channels. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed serious concern over the matter, suggesting it points toward a deeper conspiracy, while the SIT continues its investigation into the organized nature of these crimes.
