Shah Rukh Khan Turns Down Rajinikanth? The Real Reason Behind Quitting ‘Jailer 2’

The excitement surrounding Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ has received a prestigious nod from the family of Ramanand Sagar. Moti Sagar, in a recent interview, praised Ranbir Kapoor’s acting prowess, stating that the actor has dived deep into his preparation for the role of Lord Ram. Dismissing social media negativity, Sagar emphasized that one shouldn’t judge the film by its teaser and expressed confidence in Ranbir’s portrayal.

In another major update, Vicky Kaushal’s next magnum opus, ‘Mahavatar’, is reportedly eyeing Shraddha Kapoor for the lead role. While Deepika Padukone was initially considered, makers are now in advanced talks with Shraddha to add a fresh ‘star value’ to the mythological drama. This would mark the first on-screen collaboration between Vicky and Shraddha.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly opted out of a cameo in Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer 2’. Busy with his film ‘King’, featuring his daughter Suhana’s debut, SRK wants to keep his salt-and-pepper look exclusive for his own release. After a respectful discussion with Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh stepped back from the 5-day cameo role. ‘Jailer 2’ continues its production with a stellar cast including Mohanlal and Mithun Chakraborty, while search is on for a replacement for SRK’s part.
