Police Claims He’s ‘Missing,’ Yet Accused Sona Pappu Organizes Grand Iftar Party in Kolkata!
The Kankulia firing case has taken a bizarre turn as the prime accused, Biswajit Poddar alias ‘Sona Pappu,’ continues to evade the police while simultaneously planning a high-profile Iftar party. Despite being officially listed as an ‘absconding’ fugitive by the police, invitation cards for an Iftar event on March 18 and Eid celebrations on March 21 have been distributed to several high-ranking TMC leaders, including Mayor Firhad Hakim, MP Mala Roy, and MLA Javed Ahmed Khan.
The event is being organized just 1.5 kilometers from the Kasba Police Station. Local sources suggest that Sona Pappu himself has been orchestrating the event via telephone and has even commissioned promotional videos. Opposition parties are now demanding answers, accusing the local police of political partisanship and failing to execute an arrest despite the accused’s blatant public involvement in community events. With the prime accused seemingly operating in plain sight, the credibility of the police investigation is under intense scrutiny.
