In a massive financial boost to India’s farming community, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to release the 22nd installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on March 13, 2026. From Guwahati, Assam, the PM will disburse over ₹18,640 crore directly into the bank accounts of more than 9.32 crore eligible farmers.

With this release, the total amount disbursed under this scheme since its inception in 2019 will surpass the ₹4.27 lakh crore milestone.
