Is Viral Girl Monalisa Really Pregnant? Legal Clash Intensifies as Police Attempt Custody!

The legal battle surrounding viral sensation Monalisa Bhonsle and her husband Mohammad Farman has taken a dramatic turn in Kochi. A five-member team from the Madhya Pradesh police had to return empty-handed after Farman claimed that Monalisa is pregnant and unable to travel. While the police retreated on humanitarian and legal grounds, the investigation into the controversial marriage continues.
The Age Dispute and POCSO Charges
The core of the controversy lies in Monalisa’s age. Her father filed a complaint in Madhya Pradesh alleging she is only 16 years old, a claim supported by the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST). Consequently, Farman faces serious charges under the POCSO Act and kidnapping laws. Conversely, Monalisa asserts she is 18 and married Farman of her own free will at a temple in Thiruvananthapuram on March 11.
Court Relief and Safety Pleas
In a significant development, the Kerala High Court has stayed the arrest warrant against Farman until May 20. Amidst the police presence, Monalisa has written to the Kerala Chief Minister and the Kochi Police Commissioner seeking protection, alleging attempts to forcibly take her back to MP. Meanwhile, authorities are also searching for Farman’s associate, Joshua, for allegedly facilitating their hideout in Kerala.
