Tollywood actress Srabanti Chatterjee has decided to take a stand against the relentless online harassment and toxic trolling she has faced for years. In an exclusive conversation with Aajkaal.in, the actress revealed her decision to initiate legal proceedings against those crossing the line of decency. “Freedom of speech does not mean you can be uncivilized,” Srabanti stated firmly.

For a long time, Srabanti has been at the receiving end of derogatory comments regarding her personal life and choices. However, the actress has now reached her breaking point. She emphasized that while everyone has the right to express their views, using social media to assassinate someone’s character is unacceptable and illegal.

The actress has already approached the Cyber Cell and is working closely with her legal team to identify and penalize the offenders. “People think they can hide behind a screen and say anything, but there will be consequences now,” she added.
