“I Will Make Her an Ex-CM!” Suvendu Adhikari Challenges Mamata from Behala Roadshow

The nomination filing of BJP candidate Shankar Sikdar for the Behala East constituency turned into a massive cultural spectacle on Wednesday, featuring Purulia’s Chhau dancers and thousands of saffron supporters. Leading the charge, Suvendu Adhikari used the platform to launch a scathing attack on CM Mamata Banerjee, who also filed her nomination for the Bhabanipur seat today. Adhikari thundered, “I defeated her in Nandigram, and we will defeat her in Bhabanipur too. I will make Mamata Banerjee a former Chief Minister.”
Addressing the crowd, Suvendu accused local TMC leaders and police of illegal pond filling and rampant corruption. He stirred controversy by stating, “Keep good quality phenyl and bleaching powder ready; we must clean Mamata Banerjee’s face.” He emphasized that the BJP fought for a “Syndicate-free Bengal” and would never allow the state to turn into “Greater Bangladesh.” Assuring voters of safety, he mentioned that security forces from Kashmir were arriving to ensure a fear-free election. Adhikari urged workers to ensure agents at every booth, claiming that the era of TMC’s dominance was coming to an end.
