In her emotional post, Mumtaz recalled how Asha Ji’s voice was the “soul” behind her iconic performances like ‘Koi Shehri Babu’ from the film Loafer. Mumtaz expressed that she felt “profoundly lonely” after losing her spiritual guide and the voice that brought her characters to life.

Asha Bhosle’s illustrious career featured over 12,000 songs in 20 languages.
