Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced an ambitious plan to turn the city into a global ‘Cinema Hub.’ Paying a heartfelt tribute to the legendary filmmaker late Ramoji Rao, the CM emphasized that the city is ready to transcend its traditional identity and become the world’s premier destination for filmmaking.

Historically, Hyderabad’s economic backbone has been its tech sectors, but Reddy aims to leverage the foundation laid by the Ramoji Film City to build a state-of-the-art government-backed cinematic ecosystem. The proposed plan includes the development of AI-driven post-production facilities, world-class sound stages, and international-standard shooting sets. By integrating technology with creativity, the Telangana government envisions Hyderabad as a ‘Film Capital’ that will attract global filmmakers and significant foreign investment. After the IT revolution, Hyderabad is now gearing up for its biggest cinematic leap, promising thousands of new jobs and a boost to tourism.
