In a tragic incident that has sent shockwaves through Hyderabad’s medical community, a 25-year-old female doctor reportedly ended her life following a heated argument with her family over adopting a cat. The incident took place in the Cyberabad area on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Dr. H. Tejaswini, who was working at a private hospital in the city.

According to preliminary police reports, Tejaswini was an avid animal lover and wanted to adopt a kitten she had recently rescued. However, her parents were strictly against keeping a pet at home, leading to persistent friction within the family. On the day of the incident, the argument escalated further. Distraught by the situation, the doctor allegedly locked herself in her room and took the extreme step.

Her family discovered her unconscious and rushed her to the nearest hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival. No suicide note was found at the scene, but initial investigations point toward emotional distress caused by the domestic dispute. Local police have registered a case of suspicious death and are further investigating the matter.
