BJP’s Bengal ‘Sankalp Patra’ Leaked! ₹3000 for Women & DA Clearance in 45 Days Promised

The political atmosphere in West Bengal has reached a fever pitch as details of the BJP’s “Sankalp Patra” (Election Manifesto) for the 2026 Assembly Elections have reportedly been leaked. Aiming to dismantle the TMC’s 15-year rule, the BJP is planning a massive welfare push. The leaked document suggests that the party will promise ₹3,000 monthly assistance for women—directly challenging the TMC’s popular ‘Lakshmir Bhandar’ scheme—along with a time-bound clearance of all pending Dearness Allowance (DA) for state employees.

Key Highlights from the Leaked Draft:

  • Countering Lakshmir Bhandar: BJP intends to hike the monthly assistance for women to ₹3,000, nearly tripling the current benefits.
  • Yuva Sathi Scheme: Unemployed youth are likely to be promised a monthly stipend of ₹3,000 to tackle joblessness.
  • DA & 7th Pay Commission: The party promises to clear 100% of pending DA arrears and implement the 7th Pay Commission within 45 days of forming the government.
  • Singur Industrial Park: In a symbolic move, the BJP plans to acquire 1,000 acres in Singur to establish a major industrial hub.

The manifesto also puts a heavy emphasis on “law and order,” promising a White Paper on the TMC’s 15-year governance and a crackdown on illegal infiltration. With Union Home Minister Amit Shah expected to officially release the document around April 5, the leak has already set the narrative for the upcoming polls. While the TMC has dismissed these promises as “political gimmicks,” the strategic focus on government employees and women voters indicates a high-stakes battle for Nabanna.
