Big move by Nabanna; Special helpdesk operational for Yuva Sathi scheme
The West Bengal government has launched a dedicated helpdesk for the ‘Yuva Sathi’ scheme to manage the surge in applications and address queries efficiently. Operating directly under the Department of Youth Services and Sports, this initiative aims to streamline communication and grievance redressal for thousands of applicants.
Candidates no longer need to visit district or block offices to check their application status or document verification progress. A dedicated mobile number, 629224888, has been activated where applicants can either call or send WhatsApp messages. The helpdesk will be operational from Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Furthermore, a specific email ID has been introduced for formal written complaints and document submissions, ensuring a transparent and trackable process. Government officials stated that this digital transition is designed to minimize bureaucratic hurdles and provide real-time updates to all applicants. This system will remain in effect until further notice.
