The political atmosphere in Assam is already charged, with the BJP-led alliance aiming to retain power under the leadership of CM Himanta Biswa Sarma. Why a Single-Phase Election? Unlike the three-phase election in 2021, the ECI has opted for a one-day voting process for Assam this time.
