‘America Knew Everything!’ Iran Accuses US of Intentional School Massacre at UN

As the conflict between Iran and the US completes its first month, Tehran has launched a blistering verbal offensive against Washington at the United Nations. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, while addressing the UN Human Rights Council via video conference, dismissed the US claims that the missile strike on a primary school in Minab was a “mistake.” Araghchi categorized the February 28 incident as a “premeditated genocide” rather than a technical failure.

The Horror at Shajarah Tayyeba School The tragedy at the Shajarah Tayyeba Primary School left 175 students and teachers dead, sending shockwaves across the globe. Araghchi questioned the reliability of the “high-precision” technology that the US and Israel frequently boast about. “If their technology is the most advanced in the world, how could it misidentify a primary school as a military base? This was a cold-blooded conspiracy,” Araghchi told the council on Friday.

Shifting Blames and Global Tensions International media reports had earlier suggested that US forces acted on faulty intelligence, believing the school building was an old military stronghold. US President Donald Trump went a step further, suggesting that Iran might have attacked its own school to gain international sympathy—a claim debunked by experts who noted that Iran lacks the specific Tomahawk-style missiles used in the strike. Araghchi accused the US of constantly changing its narrative to evade accountability. “This is not an accident; it is a war crime. The killers must be punished,” he stated. With the war entering its second month, Iran’s fierce rhetoric has signaled a potential escalation in West Asian hostilities.
