With only a few days left for the first phase of the West Bengal elections, TMC National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee has taken the campaign storm to North Bengal. Today, he led a massive roadshow in Cooch Behar in support of Sitai candidate Sangeeta Roy and Cooch Behar South candidate Abhijit De Bhowmick.

The roadshow, which stretched from ABN Seal College Ground to the Old Post Office crossing, saw an overwhelming turnout of supporters. Following the rally, Abhishek addressed the public, intensifying the attack on the opposition. While TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee continues her district-wise rallies, Abhishek’s focused campaign in North Bengal is being seen as a crucial move to solidify the party’s vote bank in the region.
