Ending a 15-year-long wait, Arijit Singh recently paid a visit to Sonu Nigam’s residence, a meeting that Sonu described as deeply emotional and nostalgic.

The Jia-ganj boy, Arijit, didn’t go empty-handed; he gifted Sonu a small sapling. Sonu was so touched by the gesture that he placed the gift in his home’s prayer room (Thakur-ghor). The evening was filled with music and laughter, attended by artists like Shashwat Sachdev and Magic. Shashwat even whistled the melody of Sonu’s hit track ‘Shuna Shuna’ during the jam session.

This meeting comes at a time when rumors about Arijit’s retirement from playback singing are circulating. While Arijit had previously hinted at stepping away, he later clarified that he still has over a year’s worth of projects to finish. Sharing a collage of their photos, Sonu wrote, “He knows how much I love him,” highlighting the deep mutual respect between these two generations of musical legends.
