A gruesome murder has rocked the Domkal area of Murshidabad, where a housewife named Parvina Bibi was allegedly beaten to death by her husband and in-laws. According to the victim’s family, the trouble began shortly after the marriage, with the husband pressuring Parvina to return or transfer a piece of land given by her parents. On Sunday morning, the dispute turned fatal when Parvina was brutally assaulted at her home.

What makes the case even more sinister is the allegation that the accused husband had been married twice before, and both his previous wives had died under mysterious circumstances. Parvina’s family claims she was subjected to constant torture for the land. When the accused realized Parvina was dead, they rushed her to the hospital to avoid immediate suspicion but fled the scene as soon as doctors confirmed her death.

Domkal police have initiated an investigation and sent the body for an autopsy. A manhunt has been launched to nab the absconding husband and his family members. The pattern of deaths involving the husband’s three wives has sparked a major outcry in the locality, with villagers demanding a thorough probe into all past incidents.
