₹15,000 for Job Seekers & ₹3,000 Monthly for Women: Amit Shah’s Massive ‘Sankalp Patra’ for Bengal!

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has unveiled a high-stakes ‘Sankalp Patra’ (Election Manifesto) for West Bengal, focusing heavily on unemployment and women’s welfare. In a major move to woo young voters, Shah announced a one-time grant of ₹15,000 for youth preparing for competitive government exams. Additionally, the BJP has promised ₹10 lakh in financial assistance to 5 lakh youths, half of which (₹5 lakh) will be a direct government grant.
Directly taking on the state’s current ‘Lakshmir Bhandar’ scheme, Shah promised to double the monthly allowance for women to ₹3,000. Furthermore, the manifesto guarantees a 33% reservation for women in all state government jobs. Addressing the recurring issue of recruitment scams, Shah emphasized that jobs would be permanent and provided strictly based on merit, ensuring a “bribe-free” employment system. This aggressive welfare-driven manifesto marks the BJP’s strongest pitch yet to secure the mandate in Bengal.
