Yogi Adityanath Hits Top Gear! ‘Days of Sitting in AC Offices are Over’—Stern Warning on Cow Smuggling

In a significant crackdown on administrative laxity, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a blistering warning to state officials regarding cow smuggling. Expressing his deep displeasure over recent smuggling incidents in Mathura, the Chief Minister made it clear that officials can no longer remain confined to their air-conditioned offices. He has demanded immediate ground-level action and accountability from the administration to curb illegal activities.
CM Yogi emphasized that any negligence in preventing the smuggling of cattle will result in severe consequences for the concerned officers. He questioned how such incidents are taking place under the watch of the local administration and police. The Chief Minister has reiterated his “Zero Tolerance” policy against organized crime, directing the authorities to dismantle the smuggling networks entirely. He also hinted that the property of those involved in such crimes could be confiscated under the Gangsters Act.
Following this high-level meeting in Lucknow, the state’s Special Task Force (STF) and local police have been put on high alert. Vigilance along the state borders and sensitive zones has been intensified. The message from the Yogi government is loud and clear: ensuring the safety of cattle and maintaining law and order is a non-negotiable priority. Officials have now been tasked with conducting regular field inspections and providing real-time updates on the measures taken to prevent smuggling. The administration is now on its toes to implement the Chief Minister’s strict mandate.
