As this incident sparked widespread public outrage, the company&#8217;s management was ultimately compelled to clarify its stance and amend its dress code policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Emphasis on Cultural Diversity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To put an end to the controversy, Lenskart CEO Peyush Bansal stated that the guideline circulating on the internet was erroneous and did not reflect the company&#8217;s current policy. Under the new guidelines, the company pledges to accord the utmost respect to the religious and cultural freedom of its employees while simultaneously maintaining professionalism in the workplace. However, torn or faded clothing, T-shirts featuring large logos, or any attire bearing offensive messages are strictly prohibited in the workplace.
