Experts estimate that the total monthly take-home salary, including HRA and DA, could increase by 2 to 2.5 times. This means an employee currently earning \u20b930,000 could see their salary touching the \u20b960,000 to \u20b970,000 mark. However, the state\u2019s financial health remains a concern, as this move would add thousands of crores in additional expenditure.
