Raising the issue of Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif\u2019s recent threat to target Kolkata, the Chief Minister questioned the PM\u2019s silence. &#8220;When Bengal is being threatened by Pakistan, why is Mr. Modi keeping his mouth shut with a leukoplast?&#8221; she asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Trinamool supremo didn&#8217;t stop there. Targeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah, she alleged that even the people with whom &#8220;Mota Bhai&#8221; (Shah) had shared meals now find their names missing from the voter list. Expressing her dissatisfaction over the freezing of voter lists before the first phase of polling, she hinted at a legal battle, stating, &#8220;I might be a fool, but as a lawyer, I think we should move court again.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Predicting a downfall for the BJP with her trademark rhyme, &#8220;A-pash, O-pash, Dhopas&#8221; (collapse on all sides), she promised a &#8220;battle for every inch.&#8221; Banerjee also rolled out several populist promises, including converting all mud houses into concrete structures and ensuring the &#8216;Lakshmir Bhandar&#8217; scheme continues indefinitely.
