Following a formal complaint, the Banjara Hills police have sealed &#8220;Lucky Biryani Shawarma&#8221; and registered a case against the owner, Irfan, for supplying spoiled food through the Zomato delivery app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation revealed that the chicken biryani delivered to the resident of Banjara Hills Road No. 2 was cooked three days prior. When the police raided the premises, they discovered nearly 80 packets of stale biryani stored in a refrigerator infested with rats and cockroaches. It was found that the owner would cook and pack the meals at a different location (Jidimetla) and simply reheat them before dispatching orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Food Safety officials have inspected the site and confirmed the highly unhygienic conditions. Hyderabad police have intensified their vigil against food adulteration and the sale of stale products.
