The Incident:<\/strong> The confrontation occurred around 7:30 PM near the Chellithode bridge in Wandoor. Tharoor was en route to a campaign event for Congress leader A P Anilkumar. According to the FIR, the trouble began when Tharoor\u2019s gunman asked a vehicle ahead to clear the narrow road. A group of five men allegedly blocked the convoy and physically assaulted the security personnel and the driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Current Status:<\/strong> Following a complaint by security guard Ratheesh K P, the Wandoor police have registered a case and taken one individual into custody. Reacting to the incident on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), Shashi Tharoor assured his followers of his safety, stating, “I am untouched, though my security personnel was attacked.
