A woman has alleged that when she approached the officer to secure her husband\u2019s release from a &#8220;false case,&#8221; the Inspector demanded \u20b925 lakh and solicited sexual favors in return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The victim revealed a terrifying conversation where the officer allegedly boasted about paying a \u20b950 lakh bribe for his current posting, stating he needed to &#8220;recover his investment.&#8221; He reportedly threatened to label her husband a &#8220;rowdy sheeter&#8221; and ruin her reputation through drug peddlers if she refused his advances. The Inspector allegedly claimed that many other women had &#8220;cooperated&#8221; with him in similar ways previously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Karnataka State Women\u2019s Commission has taken suo motu cognisance after a news report surfaced. The brave complainant has submitted a CD containing 250 audio and video clips to the State Home Minister and DGP. Shockingly, three other women have since come forward with similar allegations against the same officer.
