Addressing the media on Thursday, March 26, 2026, the 26-year-old batting star stated that he does not feel the need to prove his worth in the upcoming IPL despite being overlooked by the national selectors for the marquee T20 event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When asked if the World Cup snub adds extra pressure on him to perform in the IPL, Gill replied firmly, &#8220;Not at all. If you look at the past three or four seasons, I think I have the most runs in the IPL. So, I don&#8217;t feel I have anything to prove to anyone this season particularly.
