Several people, including artists and elderly devotees, were critically injured and have been rushed to Chandannagar Hospital. Visuals of blood-soaked devotees have gone viral on social media, fueling public outrage. Local youths managed to apprehend one of the suspects, who is reportedly from Murshidabad, and handed him over to the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local BJP leaders have reached the spot, condemning the incident as a &#8220;planned communal attack&#8221; aimed at inciting violence during the election season.
