In a stunning escalation of political rhetoric, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has leveled explosive allegations against the Election Commission (EC) and the Central Government. Speaking at an election rally, the TMC supremo claimed that a secret blueprint is being finalized to partition West Bengal under the guise of the post-2026 ‘Delimitation’ process. She warned the electorate that the ongoing assembly election is the last stand to protect the territorial integrity of the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The Election Commission has crossed all boundaries of constitutional propriety. They are acting on orders from Delhi to disenfranchise millions and pave the way for a division of Bengal,” Banerjee asserted. She linked the controversial Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls to a larger agenda, suggesting that voter deletions are targeted at weakening the TMC\u2019s strongholds. According to her, the goal of the Delimitation Commission would be to separate North Bengal or create new administrative units to satisfy long-standing BJP demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
