With the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) coming into immediate effect following the Election Commission&#8217;s notification, the welfare drive for technicians and artists has been deferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why the Suspension?<\/strong> As per the Election Commission\u2019s guidelines, any government-sponsored welfare activity or special enrollment drive is prohibited once the poll dates are announced to ensure a level playing field. To comply with these regulations, the authorities decided to put the Tollywood health card camp on hold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dev Steps In to Reassure Workers<\/strong> Superstar and TMC MP Dev, who has been instrumental in organizing such welfare initiatives for the industry, was quick to reassure the fraternity. He clarified that the postponement is strictly due to election protocols. Dev promised that the camp would be resumed with full vigour once the polling process concludes.
