Contrary to the previous 8-phase marathon, the commission is reportedly considering a <strong>3 to 5 phase election<\/strong> to streamline security logistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tentative Schedule as per Sources:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>First Phase:<\/strong> Likely between April 16th and April 18th.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Final Phase:<\/strong> Expected around the first week of May.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Result Day:<\/strong> Tentatively scheduled for mid-May along with other states.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The ECI intends to start the polling from North Bengal, moving towards the South. With nearly 900 companies of central forces requested, the commission aims for a violence-free election.
