“Will Defeat Mamata This Time!” Humayun Kabir Slams TMC with Owaisi by His Side

In a direct confrontation with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, JUP chief Humayun Kabir launched a scathing attack while releasing his election manifesto alongside AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi. Kabir vowed to unseat the TMC government, taking sharp digs at Abhishek Banerjee’s “silver spoon” upbringing and highlighting the infighting within the party at Naoda.

The JUP-AIMIM alliance is set to contest over 150 seats in the upcoming state elections, with Kabir himself contesting from Rejinagar and Naoda. To lure voters, Kabir announced a massive monthly allowance of ₹3,500 for women and ₹2 lakh for house construction. This strategic tie-up with Owaisi and the promise of high-value social schemes pose a significant threat to the ruling TMC’s minority vote base, marking a major shift in Bengal’s 2026 electoral landscape.
