Why Did Shah Rukh Khan Skip the Mannat Tradition This Eid? King Khan Shares a Secretive Message for Fans

This Eid, the usual sea of fans outside ‘Mannat’ witnessed a rare disappointment as Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan skipped his traditional balcony appearance. Every year, thousands gather to see King Khan perform his iconic pose from the railings of his Mumbai residence, but this time, the superstar remained indoors. Authorities reportedly advised the actor against a public appearance due to heightened security protocols and massive crowd control issues.

However, the “Badshah” of Bollywood did not leave his admirers empty-handed. On Saturday night, Shah Rukh took to Instagram to share a stunning festive picture. Dressed in an elegant bottle-green sherwani and black silk salwar, he greeted everyone with a traditional ‘salaam.’ His heartfelt caption read, “Here’s wishing you and your families a joyful, peaceful and blessed Eid. Love and light to one and all, may we get all that we pray for and more… Eid Mubarak!!”

Shah Rukh is currently focusing on his high-octane action thriller ‘King,’ slated for a Christmas 2026 release. Sources also suggest that ongoing renovations at Mannat have restricted large public gatherings at the entrance. While fans missed seeing him in person, the “Love and Light” message from the superstar went viral within minutes, serving as a virtual ‘Eidi’ for his millions of followers worldwide.
