ICC Rankings After Champions Trophy 2025: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the new rankings after the Champions Trophy 2025. In the final match, India created history by defeating New Zealand by 4 wickets.

Captain Rohit played an innings of 76 runs in the final, but he has suffered a loss in the batting rankings. On the other hand, Virat Kohli scored 218 runs in the entire tournament, which has benefited him. Know here how much has changed in the ranking of the teams and the bowling rankings apart from batting after the Champions Trophy?

India on top

The Indian team was at the first position in the ODI rankings even before the Champions Trophy 2025. It still has only 122 points and Team India has retained the first position. Australia has 110 points in the second place in the ODI team rankings, India is far ahead of them. On the other hand, Pakistan still remains in third place with 106 points. New Zealand and South Africa are in fourth and fifth place respectively.

Virat-Shreyas benefit, Rohit loses

Virat Kohli has benefited in the ODI batting rankings. He scored a total of 218 runs in the Champions Trophy 2025, due to which he has now come to the fourth position with a gain of one place. Rohit Sharma has lost two places and has now reached the 5th position. Rohit was able to score only 180 runs in this tournament. The good thing is that Shubman Gill still remains the world’s top batsman in ODI. Shreyas Iyer has also come to the 8th position with a gain of one place.

Only one Indian in the top-10 bowlers

Mohammed Shami and Varun Chakraborty bowled lethally in the Champions Trophy 2025 and both took a total of 18 wickets. Only one Indian player is present in the top-10 bowlers of ODI. Kuldeep Yadav has lost three places, due to which he has come to the sixth position. Mohammad Shami has gained three places and has now come to the 11th position. Varun Chakraborty has made the biggest jump. He has jumped 143 places and has joined the top-100 of the ODI bowlers ranking.
