In a much-needed respite for middle-class families, gold and silver prices have continued their downward trend. On Wednesday, February 11, the yellow metal witnessed a moderate correction in the Kolkata market, making jewellery more affordable during the ongoing season.

Today’s Gold Rates in Kolkata:

• 22 Karat Gold: The price for 10 grams of 22K gold stands at ₹1,48,850 today, down by ₹300 from yesterday.
• 24 Karat Gold: The pure 24K gold price also slipped to ₹1,56,600 per 10 grams.

Silver Rates Today: The decline in silver prices was even more significant. Silver rates fell by ₹4,900 per kg overnight, bringing the price down to ₹2,61,500 per kg in Kolkata. Market analysts suggest that this correction is a result of global market fluctuations and profit-booking, providing a golden window for retail buyers.
