‘Show Your Strength in the Polls!’ Dilip Ghosh Rips Apart Mamata’s Challenge with Fierce Retort

The political climate in West Bengal has reached a boiling point as the 2026 Assembly Elections approach. BJP leader Dilip Ghosh has launched a scathing counter-attack against Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s recent dare. Following the CM’s “Come to Kalighat if you have the guts” comment, the Kharagpur Sadar BJP candidate responded with equal vigor, stating that the era of “intimidation politics” is coming to an end in Bengal.
The verbal duel intensified after Dilip Ghosh suggested that high-profile TMC residences might face the public’s wrath due to corruption issues. Mamata Banerjee had responded fiercely, challenging Ghosh to act on his words. Today, Ghosh retorted, “The Chief Minister should stop playing the victim card. The people of Bengal have decided to ‘garage’ this corrupt administration. It’s not about my guts; it’s about the people’s will which will be reflected on May 4th.”
Ghosh further alleged that the TMC is targeting the Election Commission and Central Forces because they are terrified of a fair election. “Whenever the ground slips from beneath her feet, she starts attacking constitutional institutions,” he added. He maintained his bold stance, claiming that the “syndicate raj” would be dismantled once the BJP comes to power. With both leaders refusing to back down, the war of words has set a high-voltage tone for the upcoming phases of the election, leaving voters to decide the ultimate victor in this clash of titans.
